As simple as heating your home seems to be, you’d be surprised at how many complicated parts are involved, all ready to break down at the worst possible time. Let’s talk about the obvious ones first.
Proper insulation. Insulate across fireplace, ceilings etc. for better experience. If there is no satisfactory ceiling insulation then you can lose 42% of household heat through the roof.
There are depth markers that are required to be placed in attic space which the WSEC requires to help the inspector and the installer verify the depth of the insulation. These depth markers should be placed within every three hundred square feet of the attic area and these must face towards the attic.
By reducing temperatures in the attic, you are taking a lot of heat off the ductwork, which means your air conditioner won’t have to work as hard and you’ll save money on your electric bill. And, of course, you also need plenty of cellulose insulation in the attic to keep the heat from radiating into the living areas of the home. I’ll cover cellulose insulation in a future issue.
For instance, when you get insulation in your homes roof or ceiling, you will be having winter days that are warm. As for the summer days, you will no longer have to suffer from that heat. Why? Because during the winter time, the insulation holds the heat in your home and during the summer days, it holds the coolness in your home. Honestly, with this rebate, you cannot go wrong.
12.0 Explanatory Information – The explanatory information regarding the two options for complying with 3.12.1 to 3.12.4 has been amended to clarify the delineation between the Energy Rating and the Elemental Provisions options.
Whatever insulation you choose to set up you will always start to save money and be a lot more comfy. Remember chose the best sort of insulation material appropriate for your home. But don’t forget to review the capabilities of spray foam insulation.
